My every day basket/makeup routine!

I thought I'd do a quick post on the makeup I use every day.  I generally leave a little basket on top of my train case and it has everything I need! I find it handy especially as I'm always in a hurry in the mornings trying to get everyone out the door on time! In the basket I have a little cup with my brushes in it, my CATRICE Concealer palette and CATRICE foundation (in the lightest shade of course! I'm super pale!) I use a CATRICE eyeshadow (now discontinued) to fill in my brows and lately I haven't bothered to wear eyeshadow during the week to save time, I usually just use the same shadow to do a quick line on my upper lid, stick on some eyeliner, mascara and blusher and off I go!
If I'm wearing eyeshadow I use my Too Faced shadow insurance or my Essence eyeshadow base.  At the minute I'm using Avon supershock gel eyeliner and I really love how black it is!  The mascara I'm using right now is Rimmel Scandaleyes and i have to say I'm not overly impressed with it but will keep using it til it runs out! I'm trying to avoid buying makeup at the minute!! I'm also using a CATRICE blusher (can you tell I love CATRICE?) And I really like the peachy pink colour of it, I find it gives me a healthy glow!
If its the weekend and I have some more time to get ready, I always pull out my Inglot palettes, I absolutely LOVE them!! I've posted about them several times in the past and am sure I will in the future too! I also love the Inglot Duraline which you can use to turn any eyeshadow into a liquid eyeliner! You just put a drop on the back of your hand, mix in some shadow and bobs your uncle, gorgeous long lasting eyeliner!

I tidied up my make up stash today and found some stuff that I haven't yet opened or used and I thought I could pass them on to a better home! These are all items that I have purchased or paid for myself!

I know its nothing majorly expensive or anything but hey, everyone loves a chance to get something for free right? I might pick up another couple of bits in the next couple of weeks and throw them in too or make a runner up prize!

Polish it behind the door!

I've become a bit of a nail polish addict lately!! I have read a few posts this week about a new Essence polish called Blue Addicted which is a good dupe for a Deborah Lippmann (Who I've honestly never heard of but I have read that the polishes are expensive so thats good enough for me!) polish.  I thought it looked lovely in the photos so I picked up a couple of bottles ( I may be doing a giveaway soon!!) and a few other bits and pieces! The Essence range is just soooo affordable that its hard to spend too much on it!  I have picked up 9 polishes this week and in total they cost me......... €10.74!  I read a blog post by the lovely Karen from Lovely Girly Bits and had to pick up the 2 golden nail polishes she recommended and you can see them in the nail pics I have posted!  I also spent ten minutes taking it back off an hour later after walking the dog because my hands were in bits from holding the lead!!  I then decided to re-do them with another 2 of my new Essence polishes and ended up with a lovely sparkly blue that looks so much better than in the photos! I really have to ask santa for a new camera, my one really doesn't take great photos!

My nail polish collection!

When I was in secondary school, I had a huge nail polish collection - I had about 40 bottles!! I didn't wear it for a good few years then because of work etc but have really gotten back into it lately and my collection is growing again!  I probably have about 40 now if not more!  I'm mainly buying Catrice and Essence lately, mainly because of the price of them compared to Rimmel, OPI or any others! The pictures I took aren't the best quality because I took them on my phone but here's most of my collection!  I have a few others that I haven't managed to take photos of yet! Catrice have some new polishes out so I've decided to buy myself one a week and at €2.79 each they won't break the bank!  Today I bought the gorgeous "Marilyn and Me" which is a gorgeous red with glitter particles in it!

Recent make up pics and purchases!!

I haven't been posting as much lately because I haven't had my internet so I'm going to just do a quick post on my make up and what I've got the last few days! I really need to stop buying make up but ever since my local chemist got Catrice I just can't help myself! They had some stuff that was half price and sure you can't beat buying something that's on sale now, can you!  My brother in law asked me the other day if I ever got fed up of having to put make up on me every day and my answer was that sometimes I do but that if I go out wearing it then I actually look sick and people tell me I don't look well and I've heard enough of that already in my life so I'd rather they tell me how healthy I'm looking!  My hair has gone wild altogether lately! It just seems to be growing up the way and is getting so curly! The sooner the better it gets a bit longer, I'm starting to miss my long hair now although I know I shouldn't complain, its better than having NO hair!

The eyeliner looks better in real life, the camera doesn't pick up the colour at all!

I've been looking for a shiny silver to use with a smokey eye so hopefully this one will do the trick!

I brought Aaron down to see Jedward on Sunday night and he was in his element, bopping away on my shoulders! They put on a great show and it was really funny cos they were half way through their first song and the power cut out on the stage!  The lads went down to the crowd and took photos and signed autographs while they got it sorted and John/Edward (I can't tell the difference) done handstands on the stage to entertain everyone.  They got the music going again and they sang about 5 or 6 songs and I actually really enjoyed it!  The pictures are from my phone so excuse the quality!

My recent make up purchases and train case!

I've been very bold lately and have bought a bit too much make up! Now it wasn't expensive or anything so i don't feel TOO bad about it but I thought I'd take some pics and show you! I also took some photos of my train case now that its all tidy! Get ready for lots of pictures!!!! The first one is just me and Aaron joking around with the DS the other evening and we finally figured out how to upload the pics straight to Facebook! Aaron keeps asking me can he join Facebook and I told him he can when he's a teenager!!
Back up to hospital next Thursday to see my oncologist AND dermatologist so it'll be a long day! Hopefully it'll be all good news! :o)

I went to see Transformers 3 on Wednesday night and it was FANTASTIC!!!! We seen it in 3d and the special effects were AMAZING!!

Aaron got his holidays from school yesterday, hard to believe he's finished his first year already! We got his report card in the post yesterday and he was really good apart from "being a bit chatty!" He got all very goods and excellents so I'm really proud of my big boy!  G was supposed to be bringing him to see Transformers tonight as a treat but isn't feeling too well so now apparently I'm bringing him instead! Won't hear me complaining! Popcorn and hot nuts - yum yum!!
